FAQ
Do I have to relocate?
You and your family do not have to relocate. The script rehearsals and the actual filming take place on location either in Los Angeles, CA or Miami, FL, and are all done over the course of one week. The project would not interfere with your child's school schedule as the filming is done over the weekend only and we can also arrange the rehearsals via Zoom. Just hop on the flight on Thursday, rehearse on Friday, film over the entire weekend and your movie is done! Ready to Premiere Digitally just a few weeks later.
Do I have to audition to be accepted?
YES! Our auditions are done virtually via Zoom. The process consists of 2 parts. First, you will be asked to submit your filled-out application form along with your most recent photo and recorded commercial video. After we have evaluated your submission, you will be scheduled for a personal Zoom interview and to perform live on camera.
Every movie has a limited number of movie roles available, hence we won't be able to accept each and every performer.
Does my child get training before the filming?
Absolutely! We put the best coaching in place to make you READY when on the SET. Every child rehearses the script with he director, engages in table reads and practices blocking techniques. The magic of this company is our ability to make sure everyone is ready on time as we deliver fully edited movie for digital screening shortly after the production.
My child doesn't have any acting experience
And you don't need any. I AM A STAR is a DREAM FACTORY. We make your dreams of acting come true. We build your confidence and work with your abilities and potential to highlight your strengths, not weaknesses.

Why does it cost money?
Movie Productions cost money. We spend thousands of dollars in filming studio costs, hiring Celebs and Influencers, editors, top camera crew, cinematographers, rehearsal space, script writers, submitting movies to film festivals, theater screening rentals, and more.
Our customer service representatives and talent advisors are available Monday through Friday, answering question and helping you take your talent to the next level.
Who gets to see the film?
Our movies are submitted to film festivals worldwide as well as the best short films are submitted to the Academy in Short Film " Live Action" category for Oscar consideration. Each movie Premieres Digitally where an unlimited number of industry professionals are invited to see the film during the live streaming . After the official Premiere, each movie is published on I AM A STAR Channel. You get to share the film with agents, friends and family on any social platform forever!
What happens after I buy the program?
You will receive an I AM A STAR orientation guide to start preparing for your trip. You will be asked to email us your personality description, few headshots and one recording of yourself performing a monologue. This will help us tailor the script around your personality and image.
You will be scheduled for Zoom calls with our directors for rehearsals as the script is being polished.
Does the Program guarantee fame?
I AM A STAR will produce a movie starring your child. The exposure is automatic with worldwide audiences having access to watch the movie on our Channel. Depending on your social network and connections, you are free to share the movie with your audience and publicize it. Fame depends on the public falling in love with you as a character and is never guaranteed.
